日本で、エネルギー問題を担当している役所は、経済産業省内の資源エネルギー庁。したがって、エネルギー問題担当閣僚は経済産業大臣。一方、ここアメリカでエネルギー問題を担当しているのは閣僚を頂く一個の独立した機関であるDepartment of Energy。日米を比較しただけでも、エネルギー所管官庁の在り方は大きく違っているわけだが、他の国ではいったいどうなっているのか。前々から気になっていたのだが、今日、なんとなく思い立って、G20全部について調べてみた。

イタリアのAuthority for Electric Energy and Gasは、どうも電気・ガスの市場管理を担当しているだけのようで、より大きな意味でのエネルギー政策をどこが担当しているのかは不明。韓国の産業資源部は、既に、Ministry of Knowledge Economyに改組されているようなのだが、その中にエネルギー所管部局が収まっているのかどうかは確認できず。
時間があれば、いろいろ考察してみたいと思う。
